The Siddhas have said,
“When the breath moves, the mind moves. When the breath is steady, the mind becomes steady.” When the movement of the prana stops, the fickleness of the mind vanishes. When the prana becomes balanced, the central nerve unfolds. Then one’s own essential nature and the light of knowledge manifest.
The light of the lamp of knowledge is synonymous with the realization of one’s true nature, which is nothing but the Self.
