From Healing to Healthy: Private Yoga Wellness Sessions

Prioritize true health on the deepest levels of being.
These Practices Change Lives!

Adjust-3-rounded.jpg

After attending many group classes with Corina, both in-person and virtually. I decided I deserved weekly private yoga sessions.  Corina is knowledgeable about yoga, anatomy/physiology and meditation – and she ties it all together lovingly with poetry – she is a rarity among yoga teachers. She somehow creates a space where you can actually uncover your truest feelings, desires and hopes for your “one wild, precious life.
-Lori K.

Yoga is not ‘merely’ a physical practice, but rather a time-tested technology designed to uncover what it means to be human on a quest for ultimate realization. It is a practice that transforms life experience into brilliant, timeless wisdom. It builds courage, confidence, resilience and fortitude while equally strengthening one’s ability to receive, surrender, forgive and release. I

’ve shared these disciplines successfully with many people in varying places in their lives.

Some seek to amplify their health and well-being, opting to commit to a private practice for a specific amount of time in order to reach personal metrics of success. Others are artist, poets, and writers who find that our work together inspires creativity and a deep connection with their muse. We might work privately together once a month, and they frequently find themselves in drop-in public classes, on-line week-long retreats and residential retreats. Still others reach out when they are going through difficult and painful life transitions such as separation/divorce, empty-nesting, professional challenges, sobering medical diagnoses, the death of loved ones, whether sudden or anticipated, to age with grace and dignity, or just to have a more authentic relationship with life.

Working privately with me will not SOLVE any of your ‘problems,’ but it will transform you relative to those circumstances, often resulting in the revelation of many of life’s most profound mysteries. Our time together will become a cherished and treasured respite from your daily responsibilities in which you get to bask in the light of your own attention, nourish yourself with the breath, safely and appropriately move your body, release stuck and stagnant energy, increase internal energetic reserves and connect with the truest, YOU-est parts of yourself.

My true aim is to help you connect with your intuition and deepest wisdom in service of you living life with fortitude, humor and grace. The techniques I utilize include yin, vinyasa/slow-flow and restorative yoga, meditation and breathwork. When appropriate, I also o er holistic lifestyle suggestions and prompts for contemplation/journaling, while incorporating poetry, yogic and Buddhist philosophy and deep inquiry. The people I help most are the ones who are willing to take responsibility for their lives, to face their challenges clearly and directly, and exercise agency and discipline to fully LIVE, rather than fear, their lives. I welcome the experiences and emotions many prefer to shun, like anguish, rage, sadness and grief, mining them for their richness, wisdom and truth.

Recently retired and a yoga novice, I found my way to Corina with the goals of improving my flexibility, balance, and mobility through yoga.  Corina’s breadth and depth of experience and ability to adapt a practice to meet my particular limitations and abilities has allowed me to make satisfying progress on all 3 goals.

Thank you, Corina!!!

How I work:

We set up a time to either speak on the phone or meet on Zoom for a virtual conversation. Here you share with me what you are seeking from individual work with me, the specifics about your current state of health, practices and experience with yoga, and ask me any questions you may have. Together we will explore if my skills, experience and approach seem like a good fit for you.

If so, we set up a minimum of (4) sessions so you can experience how the work lands in your body and mind. From there you might choose a specific number of sessions, one or two times a week, to reach a specific goal, or you might decide to continue on indefinitely.

While we are working privately together, if we meet at least once a week, you will receive a 20% discount on events I produce myself, plus have free access to my weekly virtual yin yoga classes. If we meet once every other week, you will receive 2 free virtual yin classes plus 15% o  events I produce myself. Once-a-month private students receive one free virtual yin class plus 10% o  events I produce myself.

When I come to you will need a yoga mat, (2) yoga blocks, 1 or 2 blankets (Mexican or throw blankets) and space to practice. If I manifest a space of my own you will simply come to me.
