About The Event

Millenia ago yogis gave language to the realization that, as human beings, we embody five different layers of being, called 'koshas.' Kosha means envelope or sheath and each one relates to a different 'body.' They're often likened to Russian Dolls with each subsequent layer being identical to the former, just a different size. These levels of being relate to the physical body, the energy body, the mental/emotional body, the wise/intuitive body and the body of bliss. In this workshop you'll learn how the practice of yin yoga addresses and influences each level of being


You’ll learn how the practice of yin yoga contributes to your inherent flexibility and mobility, and to make informed decisions about how to position your body for your own maximum benefit. You’ll become fascinated with fascia, the web of connective tissue that weaves the entire body together, and understand how this practice actually influences the flow…
