About The Event

Yoga Sutra 1.36 advises students to contemplate the effulgent, sorrowless inner light in order to remain steadfast on the path when overcome by attitudes and situations that derail your practice.  As the days have been growing darker and colder (in the Northern Hemisphere) many find their mood and energy levels also become dark and heavy, which makes it more difficult to roll out the yoga mat. As we approach the shortest, darkest day of the year,  join us for a Yin & Slow Flow Yoga practice designed to excavate this light: thinning out, tearing down, and dismantling whatever covers your brilliance and luminosity. Find solace, take comfort, and be inspired by discovering and remembering who and what you really are. And rejoice: the light is about to return!

If you're coming to class LIVE please bring a yoga mat. If you have 2 blocks and a blanket or 2 that…

“Come, come, whoever you are. Wanderer, worshiper, lover of leaving. It doesn't matter. Ours is not a caravan of despair. come, even if you have broken your vows a thousand times. Come, yet again , come , come.”
