About The Event

Often in our lives we are caught up in a speedy momentum that is filled with uncertainty about what will unfold, a propensity to trouble-shoot all of the ‘what if’s’ while attempting to strategize a positive outcome, while chasing a tantalizing promise of happiness or satisfaction just around the corner that is never quite grasped.

Rather than wondering and worrying about the future, yin yoga practice is an opportunity to deeply and viscerally explore the present moment. Using sensation and breath, you learn to anchor awareness in the body, in the present moment, where you discover the inner resourcefulness required to courageously meet whatever is arising.

Fortified by this inner strength, you now become interested in your life and curious about what is actually going on. You learn to live, rather than fear, your life.

“Come, come, whoever you are. Wanderer, worshiper, lover of leaving. It doesn't matter. Ours is not a caravan of despair. come, even if you have broken your vows a thousand times. Come, yet again , come , come.”
