Private Embodiment Sessions

with Corina Benner

Cultivate clarity, vitality, and an Deeper relationship with yourself.

After attending many group classes with Corina, both in-person and virtually. I decided I deserved weekly private yoga sessions.  Corina is knowledgeable about yoga, anatomy/physiology and meditation – and she ties it all together lovingly with poetry – she is a rarity among yoga teachers. She somehow creates a space where you can actually uncover your truest feelings, desires and hopes for your “one wild, precious life."
-Lori K.

Yoga is far more than stretching or exercise. At its heart, it is a practice of paying attention—of becoming intimate with your own body, breath, mind, and life.

Over time, it doesn't simply change how you move. It changes how you relate to yourself, to uncertainty, to joy, to grief, and to the people you love.

For more than twenty-five years, I've had the privilege of guiding people through seasons of growth, challenge, transition, and renewal. While every person's path is unique, my work is always rooted in the same intention: helping people reconnect with themselves so they can meet life with greater clarity, vitality, courage, and presence.

Some people come to me because they want to feel healthier, stronger, or more at home in their bodies. They commit to a period of focused practice and discover that the benefits extend far beyond the physical.

Others are artists, writers, entrepreneurs, leaders, and creative thinkers who find that our work together deepens their creativity, steadies their nervous system, and reconnects them with the quieter voice of intuition beneath the noise of everyday life.

Many seek private guidance during significant life transitions—a separation or divorce, the loss of a loved one, an empty nest, a medical diagnosis, professional uncertainty, retirement, or simply the feeling that something important is asking to be explored. In these moments, our sessions become a steady place to land: a space to breathe, reflect, listen, and remember what truly matters.

I can't promise to remove the challenges from your life. What I can promise is that you'll begin to meet them differently. Again and again, I watch people discover that when they change their relationship to their circumstances, their entire experience of life begins to shift.

Our time together becomes a cherished respite from the pace and demands of daily life—a place where you can bask in the light of your own attention, nourish yourself through conscious breathing, move your body in ways that are safe, intelligent, and supportive, release accumulated tension, restore your energy, and reconnect with the truest, most authentic parts of yourself.

Together we may draw from slow flow, yin, restorative yoga, meditation, breathwork, mindful conversation, poetry, contemplative inquiry, and practical lifestyle guidance. The practices themselves are simply the doorway. The deeper work is learning to trust yourself, to cultivate resilience without hardening, to soften without losing strength, and to live with increasing authenticity, humor, curiosity, and grace.

We don't rush to fix grief, anxiety, uncertainty, or heartbreak. Instead, we become curious about them. Rather than treating difficult emotions as interruptions to life, we learn to meet them as teachers, often discovering unexpected wisdom, compassion, and courage waiting within them.

The people who benefit most from this work are those who are willing to participate fully in their own lives. They are willing to look honestly, practice consistently, and take responsibility for the direction of their lives. They are less interested in becoming someone else and more interested in becoming fully themselves.

My deepest hope is that our work together helps you develop an unshakable confidence in your ability to meet life as it unfolds—not because life becomes easier, but because your relationship with yourself becomes stronger.

This is, ultimately, the practice.

Not escaping your life.

Learning to inhabit it fully.

Recently retired and a yoga novice, I found my way to Corina with the goals of improving my flexibility, balance, and mobility through yoga.  Corina’s breadth and depth of experience and ability to adapt a practice to meet my particular limitations and abilities has allowed me to make satisfying progress on all 3 goals.

Thank you, Corina!!!

How we begin:

Every private partnership begins with a complimentary conversation.

We'll connect by phone or Zoom so I can learn what brings you here, what you're hoping to cultivate, and answer any questions you may have. Just as importantly, we'll discover whether working together feels like the right fit for both of us.

If we decide to move forward, we'll begin with a series of four sessions. This gives us time to establish a rhythm, build trust, and allow the practices to unfold in a meaningful way.

From there, we'll decide together what best supports you. Some people work with me through a particular season or life transition. Others continue weekly, biweekly, or monthly, making this work an ongoing investment in their vitality, clarity, and relationship with themselves.

Sessions are offered virtually or in person, depending on location. If we meet in your home, all you'll need is a yoga mat, two blocks, one or two blankets, and a quiet space to practice. I'll guide the rest.
