Saturdays, April 25, May 2, May 9, May 16 • 9:30 – 11:00 a.m.
Each session in this unique yoga offering will begin with gentle poses and slowly build to more challenging ones as appropriate for participants. There will also be longer held poses (yin-style*) that will allow participants to practice mindfulness meditation. These positions when combined with mindful awareness have the potential to contribute in a powerful way, to your sitting meditation practice, your health and well-being and your resiliency in meeting life on its own terms.
This program is comprised of four (4) stand-alone 90 minute yoga sessions on Saturday mornings in University City. You may attend as many or as few sessions as you like.
You will need to bring your own yoga mat. If you do not have a yoga mat, consider bringing a blanket or a large towel.
Prior experience with yoga or meditation is not required.
